About
Senior US engineering, pointed at one industry
Who we are
Reqmint is a US software engineering firm. The engineers behind it have spent their careers building and running production systems for businesses that cannot afford them to fail, and more recently building agentic systems: software that reads from several systems, decides what to do next under written rules, and hands the decision to a person.
We are engineers, not a marketing agency and not a staffing firm. We do not place candidates, and we do not compete with you.
Why staffing and recruiting
Staffing is a margin business run on a handful of workflows that every firm does slightly differently and that no ATS fully owns: redeploying finishing contractors, chasing timesheets and credentials, screening against what a client actually wants. Surveys across the industry report a majority of firms "using AI", yet adoption at small firms sits far below enterprise, and almost no engineering firm serves them directly.
The largest ATS vendor is building its own screening features. Firms on Loxo, Crelate, JobAdder, Vincere, Recruiterflow and similar systems are not getting those features, and even where they exist, a vendor feature stops at the vendor's boundary. The valuable agents cross that boundary into timesheets, onboarding, email and payroll. That is the work we do.
How we are paid
We bill hourly, on a time-and-materials basis, as a project engagement or as staff augmentation inside your team. Scope is agreed through an initial conversation and a written scope note before work starts, and you see the hours as they accrue. We take no referral fees from software vendors and recommend tools on their merits.
What we ask of you
An owner or operations lead who will spend two hours a week with us during the build, access to the systems the agent reads, and honesty about which workflows are really broken. In return you get a working agent in weeks, not quarters, and a scope you agreed before we started.
