Assessments, agent builds and staff augmentation
Every engagement is a build against a workflow you already run, in the systems you already pay for. We do not sell a platform, a seat license, or a chatbot. Senior US engineers do the work, billed hourly on a time-and-materials basis, as a project engagement or as staff augmentation alongside your own team. Scope starts with a conversation, and roughly a third of those conversations should end with "not yet".
Workflow assessments
A short, structured pass through your ATS, your timesheet and onboarding tools, and the shared inboxes where the real work happens.
- Interviews with the people who do the work: recruiters, account managers, and whoever chases timesheets on Monday morning
- A read-only pass over your ATS data model, API limits and integration options
- A ranked shortlist of agent candidates, each with a revenue or recovered-hours estimate and the data it would need
- A data-access and security map: what an agent would read, what it would write, and who signs off
Not a strategy deck: the output is a build plan a senior engineer would sign. And not a vendor bake-off: if a feature inside your ATS already solves the problem, we say so and stop.
Redeployment agents
Contractors finishing assignments are the highest-margin candidates a staffing firm has and the most frequently lost. We build agents that watch end dates, match finishing consultants to open and forecast reqs, draft outreach in your voice, and hand the recruiter a decision, not a dashboard.
- End-date and extension monitoring from your ATS and timesheet system
- Matching against live reqs and the pipeline your account managers flag as likely
- Draft outreach to the consultant and the account manager, logged in the ATS
- A weekly redeployment report: who is finishing, who was contacted, what happened
Not a job board or a sourcing tool: it works on people you already placed. And never autonomous outreach: every message is sent by a person, or by a rule that person configured.
Timesheet and compliance chasers
The back-office chase that delays pay runs and blocks starts: missing timesheets, unapproved hours, expiring certifications, I-9 and background-check gaps. We build agents that chase by rule, escalate by rule, and show the coordinator exactly what is outstanding.
- Deadline and expiry monitoring across timesheet, onboarding and credentialing systems
- Multi-step reminder sequences to contractors and client approvers, on the channels you already use
- Escalation to a named human with the full history attached
- A daily exceptions list instead of a spreadsheet
Not a payroll system or a VMS: it sits beside those systems and reads from them. And not a replacement for the coordinator: it removes the chase, not the judgment.
Rubric screeners
Screening candidates against a rubric your recruiters wrote, with every score explained and every human action recorded. Designed from the first line for the notice, bias-audit and record-keeping duties that NYC Local Law 144 and Illinois HB 3773 place on the firm using the tool.
- Rubric design workshop with your recruiters; the rubric is a document you own
- Scoring with a written rationale per criterion, stored beside the candidate record
- Candidate notice text and opt-out routing, with a record of what was shown to whom
- Export packs for an independent bias audit and for client or regulator requests
- Human-in-the-loop by design: no candidate is rejected without a recruiter's action
Not a resume parser or a sourcing bot. And not legal advice: we build the records; your counsel confirms they satisfy the jurisdictions you place in.
Staff augmentation
Some firms have an in-house developer or a technical operations lead and a backlog of integration work. We supply senior US engineers who embed with your team, work in your repositories and your standups, and hand back systems your own people can run. Same engineers, same hourly basis, your direction.
Running what we build
Agents need tending: ATS API changes, model updates, rule and rubric adjustments, monitoring. We stay engaged after handover for exactly that work, billed hourly like everything else, and we write the runbook so your team can take as much of it in-house as you want.
