Build the agents that keep contractors working

Reqmint is a small practice of senior US-based engineers building AI agents for staffing and recruiting firms: redeployment radar, timesheet and compliance chasing, screening with a logged rationale. The work is contract-based. Engineers join for a project engagement or a staff-augmentation seat with one of our clients, work remotely from anywhere in the US, and are trusted with production systems from the first week.

The work rewards a particular temperament: you would rather read an undocumented ATS API than argue about frameworks, you write down what you did, and you treat a payroll cutoff as a real deadline. Most engagements touch several systems at once, and every decision that matters ends with a human in the loop, by design.

If that sounds like your kind of work, send a note through the form below with a line about the production systems you have run and the messiest integration you have shipped.

Senior work only

No junior bench. You scope the work you build, talk to the client, and own the handover.

Remote, US-based

Work from anywhere in the US. Some clients want a day on site; most never do.

Real production stakes

Pay runs, placements and compliance records depend on what you ship. It is the opposite of a demo.

Written down

Scope notes, runbooks and rationale logs are part of the job, not an afterthought.

Senior Integrations Engineer — Contract, Remote (US)

Remote

Build and run agents against staffing ATSs (Loxo, Crelate, JobAdder, Vincere, Recruiterflow) and the timesheet, onboarding and credentialing systems beside them. Comfortable with OAuth-heavy vendor APIs, queues, and idempotent writes into someone else's system of record.

Senior Data Engineer — Contract, Remote (US)

Remote

Own the reporting side of agents: models for end dates, chase outcomes and selection-rate exports. Mostly SQL and Python against Postgres, with an audit trail as a first-class requirement.
